Grid tie solar inverter is a compact unit, which directly converts direct current into alternating current for powering appliances and/or office equipments and connecting to utility grid. The AC output from this inverter is synchronized and in-phase with the utility grid. It is a key device of power generation systems such as PV power generation system, wind turbine power generation system. Grid tie solar inverter specially optimized design to work with modularization of DC power supplies which includes the mainstream solar modules, 18V (36 cells), 30V (60 cells) and 36V (72 cells) monocrystal and/or Polycrystalline solar panels, wind turbines and batteries. Grid tie inverter is stabilization, reliable and high conversion efficiency items. It is the best choice for PV power generation systems.

 

This grid tie inverter can be easily placed and attached to the rack underneath of PV module. No need spaces for independent installation and low voltage DC wire connects from the PV module to inverter can eliminate the risk of high DC voltage. Each grid tie inverter is individually connected to each PV module in the array. I. Single Inverter connection

 

A. Inverter work with solar panels.

This inverter has two DC voltage range. They are 10.8-30VDC and 20-45VDC.

 

10.8-30VDC range is for 36cells-Vmp:18-21V:Voc:20-24V solar panels. For example, if you have 8pcs 150W 18V (36cells) solar panel, you can make 8pcs solar panel in series. And then connect the PV array output to the inverter DC side.

 

20-45VDC range is for 60cells-Vmp:26-30V:Voc:34-38V or 72cells-Vmp:35-39V:Voc:42-46V. This range can suitable for two version solar panels. For example, if you have 5pcs 250W 30V (60 cells) solar panel, you can make 5pcs in series to connect the inverter. Or you have 4pcs 300W 36Vv(72 cells) solar panel, you also can make them in series to connect the inverter.

B. Inverter work with battery.

 

If you want to use this grid tie inverter for battery, then please use 24VDC battery with 10.8-30VDC inverter. 36VDC battery with 20-45VDC inverter. 

 

Because this inverter is designed for solar panels which with MPPT function. So we don\'t very suggest customers to use it for battery. It may short the inverter service life.

C. Grid tie inverter works in the wind solar hybrid system.

 

Few wind turbine is 36V output. So in the wind power system, you only can choose 10.8-30VDC inverter. The battery voltage is 24V in the system, 

 

P.S. This grid tie inverter can\'t connect to wind turbine directly. In the wind power system, it must connect a battery and then use battery connect to inverter.

Troubleshorting

1. System halted and /or without power output

a)  Check the inverter swich turn on or not.  

b)  Check DC side cables connection loose or not. 

c)  Check DC side positive and negative cables reverse connection or not. 

d)  Check DC input voltage is within the range of inverter or not.

f)   Check inverter AC voltage is suitable your local grid voltage or not.

g)  Check DC side fuses are burned or not.  

h)  Check AC side connection loose or not. 

 

2. DC power supply is normal but no power output

a)  Check if utility grid voltage is connecting to inverter or not,

b) Check if utility grid voltage is fit in with the serviceable range of inverter or not. 

 

When you receive the inverter, please open the box to chack all accessories are correct. If there are something missing, please feel free to contact with us.

 

When you test the inverter, please read the user manual first. If there are something confused, welcome you to contact with  us. 

 

When you use the inverter, if inverter is with problem, please check the troubleshorting in the user manual first and follow it to check your inverter. If the problem still can\'t solve, feel free to contact with  us. To detecte the problem, we need you to provide below information to us:

 

a). Your order No.

b)  Your solar panel voltage and power. Connect in series or parallel.

c)  The DC voltage and power from your PV arrary.

d) Take a video to show the inverter problem ( in the video, it is better you can use the multimeter to test the DC side and AC side voltage).
